An unexpected gem!!! The smell of this place is heavenly. The doughnuts are SO fresh and fluffy. Perfect amount of glaze and I love that they’re not super huge. All the pastries are a steal. Also...the chocolate frosted cinnamon roll....you do NOT want to miss out on this. Amazing! The employees are kind and quick. Easton Baking Co easily outshines Naz-o-Nut, go try them out!!!
Fantastic baked goods! Donuts are amazing, fresh and fluffy. Tomato pie is a great lunch item. Prices have gone up a little since the old owners but the new ones have done a lot of work to the place to get it up and running again. Totally worth the extra money spent for fresh, local baked goods! Definitely place an order ahead of time to get your stuff. You won't be disappointed! Friendly staff and quick walk in service. So glad they are open again.
My family has been getting baked goods and tomato pie from here since they been opened. Their tomato pie is foodgasmic. I have yet to have anything I dislike from there. I found out today. They do whipped topping year around now. Prices are very cheap especially for the quality. All fresh made. You can call and place orders. If you are going there. There may be a line or wait. It's small inside. Things run out quickly at times. I highly suggest. The owner is awesone and friendly.
I loved this place when the old owners ran it. So when it re-open I gave it a try under the new owners. First of all the boxes they bought to put the food are all wrong. I went their 2 times and the first time they had nothing ready. So i didn't buy anything. The second time i went i bought pizza and donuts. The pizza is not the same. They have put in the wrong kind of box and sauce gets every where now. The pizza taste average at best. The pizza is dry out like it is a day old. They are definitely cutting corners and not the same. Slices are not cut informally like they were in the past. Some of the slice are half the size or smaller then what they were under the previous owners. Donuts were average only had four kinds no jelly, cream filled or the knots or bar donuts. The donuts dont tast the same either. The prices have gone up and its not worth the money. If things don't change this place will be closing with in the year.
They have the best bakery items and cakes and curbside pickup
Fabulous is all I can say.
Don't know why you place an order then you go to pick it up and it's already sold to a walk- in
Old school. Fantastic donuts - 45¢ a piece. This is not NYC. Amazing value.
My mother and I came over from Nj for some tomoato pie which she enjoys a lot and possibly some good sweets... as we entered the staff (1 male 2 females) did greet us right away.... then our experience was just ok.. I ordered 2 cannolis and 2 creme filled cupcakes and recieved 2 cannolis and 1 cupcake... the staff was extremely rude and very very pushy and rushing me... which caused them to mess up my order... not likely to return ...
I wanted raisin sticky buns and they showed me them. I asked, but, where are the raisins? Looked plain to me. She said that they were "rolled inside". When I got home and cut into them i was disappointed to see only a couple of raisins. Sad.
After seeing great reviews on FB, we wanted to give it a try. We arrived there at 6:20 am and waited for 20 minutes. Most of the donuts and pies were gone, nothing came out from the kitchen. The customer in front of us said "whatever available is fine" and when he paid, they were running out of change so he said "keep the change." I am not saying that the place was dirty but it was not inviting. They were not organized and the staff was unprofessional. We got some basic donuts and they pretty good. I don't think we will return there again since we live in NJ.
It's a quaint little shop. Mitzi was great! They are doing our wedding cake. I am very happy with the taste and will send business there way!! Thank you Easton Baking!
Would love to know why the bakeries customers think they can get away with blocking road and driveways now that there is a pandemic crisis happening. Oh also love to know why the bakery isnt following safe social distancing procedures like they said they would do on facebook. Lines of way more than 2 double parked cars close as possible up the street and multiple people going in and out. Yes we can see it and are documenting.
3/4/20 As always great tomato pie and donuts. i did you have to wait 25 minutes in line but it was well worth the weight. I'm sure things will get better as time goes by with the new owners. It was my first visit back to the bakery since they had just recently reopened the store and as usual there was no parking.
new owners so they get a pass but ordered 8dz donuts for the hospital workers who are working so hard in this co vid 19 mess and not even a thank you or any kind of break.....they need to be more community orientated after all doesnt it work both ways?
Beat bakery around. Great tomato pie, and brownies.
When there today. Nothing was ready had to wait and they had no donuts and the pizza doesn’t taste the same. Don’t waste your time. Big big disappointment
I'm sorry to say we were very disappointed in raisin sticky buns very sugary instead of buns like old bakery . We expected similar buns since recipes were given from old bakery . Also we expected price increase but want same quality not nearly enough raisins either '.Buns were very hard next morning wont be back until things get perfected!
Regular baked they put all in the frozen
Small business that has a great product. Prices are inexpensive and the doughnuts are fantastic. You can not go wrong with their wedding cakes either !!!!
I’m so glad Easton Baking is once again open! I drove from Quakertown to Easton just to get my fix!
Excellent Sfogliatelle ! Nice folks too !
I ordered chocolate cinnamon rolls. Big and delicious
Fabulous donuts at great prices, but cash only. The plain and custard-filled donuts are the best. I like the tomato pie, too. I had a cake once, and I thought it was a little dry.Expect a long line on a weekend morning, and an even longer line on Fastnacht Day. It can even be hard to park. It's not unusual to see several cars double parked at the busiest times.
A great experience. Yesterday, I ordered two boxes of tomato pie and scheduled pick-up for today. Everything was on time, packaged perfectly, and delicious. The gentlemen who picked it up for me commented on how nice the people at the bakery were. I got this as a treat for my co-workers, they all love it, and want they want to know where I got it (I sent for it from Emmaus).
excellent bakery, I have never, in perhaps 10 years of going there, had a bad product. It loses a point for the lack of parking and oftentimes the wait is pretty long. Not through the fault of the bakery, they are incredibly popular, for good reason, and it is street parking only which is tough in that location. Highly recommended.
Great donuts
So happy they are back open.
My family has been going there for our bakery needs for 40 years. Great family owned business where you're not just a customer, you're a friend. Quality baking goes into everything that they make from cookies to cakes to donuts and more.
NOT the same, 2 fridays in a row and no product on the shelves in the morning. Was basically told i come to early! Why are you open then?!?!?!
Excellent Italian bread and doughnuts.
Best cakes around! I love their whipped cream cakes with filling in the middle. I've been getting them over 20 years. They are a favorite of my kids too. I like to get their birthday cakes there. The staff is super friendly too, no matter who you are.
Cant wrap my head around why you would sell people’s prepaid orders,If you cannot back up the hype do not promote it...Very Unprofessional!
Great doughnuts! Tho if you need a specific type, you might want to call ahead because I do run out
Pretty Damn Good!!!
One of the best family-owned businesses. It is very clean and their food is amazing. You have not had dessert until you have been to this place. Their donuts are to-die-for in their brownies are to die for. They are one of the best places in the tri-state area for dessert and they are hidden and Easton Pennsylvania
I would like to know when u will have enough tomato pie and donuts? I came from Bethlehem 2 times, and both times turned away. Either ran out of ingredients or whatever was the other excuses. You can't even call and get a live person, or even leave a message, mailbox is full. I don't know what u were thinking, the brother from the other people is helping u out, he should have known how much stuff u needed and how much to make. This is going to cause people to find other bakeries.
Drove down from Pen Argyl and waited in line 45 mins when I finally got inside there was no more tomato pie girls where bringing out curb side pick ups and not once did they say they were out I told other customers when I left to save them the wait
Their bread, cookies, danishes, and most items are great. However, the Italian pastries aren't authentic Italian. I'm from NJ, my first job was as a counter girl in an authentic Italian bakery. I grew up around authentic Italian bakeries. I ate authentic Italian pastries from my friend's Italian grandmothers. I know authentic Italian and this is not it. That being said, the prices are great and all the other products are good, especially the bread. Oh, and expect a long wait. The establishment is small, and their customer base is large, so lines go out the door often.
Definitely not what it use to be
Easten baking company, now under new ownership, is it as good as ever. I particularly like their donollis, which are donuts filled with cannoli filling. They're well known for their tomato pie, donuts, and faschnauts. The staff are always friendly and willing to help, but be ready for things to be sold out if you go later in the day and to wait in line to get in. This place is popular!
I’ve been coming here for 10 years, but this past week was my first time after Easton Baking Co got new owners. I ordered a mix of jelly, original glazed, powdered sugar, donnoli, cinnamon rolls, and chocolate iced buns. The donuts were good but not the service. The lady who served me seemed irritated by my questions about what specials were available. Her brusque attitude made me not want to come back. This is too bad because until this past week Easton Baking Co was my favorite donut place on the East Coast.
Very kind and busy. Wonderful treats and baked goods. I recommend everything. For all the older more mature individuals stuck in the past, don't be afraid. The new Easton baking is a hit.
Another throw back. Friendly service in a bakery, fresh products and a price list actually on the wall....best baked goods in Easton and Bethlehem...
So glad they are back. Second time visiting and they have so much more. They have knots and they are to die for. I'm in trouble. Yum and thanks!!
This is the BEST bakery I have ever been to. The pastry is GREAT and the prices are unbelievably low. It a good thing it is 300 miles from my house or I would weigh 350 LBS. We have to stop every time we visit my son.
So happy to have this bakery open again. If you really are counting on a particular product order it ahead of time if possible. Can't want for the cakes and cannolis to return!
Can’t get enough of their goodies. Whenever I travel out of town, I always ask what I can bring from home. Response “ANYTHING FROM EASTON BAKING!!!”.
There blueberry muffins and cranberry muffins are very good plus donuts
